For 120 years, our family business Quercyl, has specialized in the extraction and manufacture of plant extracts.
As early as 1905, we developed a method for extracting the aging principles contained in wood, particularly in oak.
Then becoming pioneers in the research of innovative methods applied to the aging of wines and spirits, we have since extended our know-how to plant extraction on other genus species.

Quercyl milestones
1905.
Fondation
Albert Jarraud, owner of a spirits trading house, is interested in the problems of aging spirits. He founded the Quercyl company.
1920.
Creation
Albert Jarraud, developed a method for extracting the aging principles contained in wood. From the application of this patent will be born a product : Quercyl.
1953.
Modernization
Charles Jarraud, son of Albert Jarraud takes control of the company. He modernized production tools and endeavored to internationalize the company.
1983.
Innovation
From 1983, Pierre Jarraud took over the business. Significant investments in R&D are made. The DRAJAURYL and TANYL ranges are created.
2010.
Diversification
Creation of the Botanyl range, bringing together many plant extracts, intended for sectors other than wines and spirits.
